The NXP UCODE 9 Liquid-Resistant White RFID Label 44x18mm (Model: U9-LIQ-4418) is a specialized printable RAIN RFID label engineered to overcome the severe RF attenuation and dielectric absorption caused by liquid-filled containers, cosmetic lotions, pharmaceutical syrups, beverages, and biological samples. Powered by the NXP UCODE 9 integrated circuit, this label features an advanced antenna profile that maintains high impedance matching and strong backscatter performance in high-moisture environments.
1. Moisture-Immune Antenna Tuning & Chip Architecture
Standard UHF RFID tags suffer from severe detuning when placed near water or aqueous solutions because water possesses a high dielectric constant (~80) that absorbs 865–867 MHz radio waves. The U9-LIQ-4418 incorporates a specialized dipole antenna layout combined with NXP UCODE 9's Self-Adjust dynamic RF front-end, delivering an exceptional read range of 4.0 to 8.0 meters even when mounted directly on plastic or glass liquid bottles.
2. Printable Matte White Face & Enterprise Compliance
The label features a premium thermal-transfer printable matte white synthetic polypropylene (PP) facestock that accepts high-density barcode and text printing using resin or wax-resin ribbons. Backed by a high-tack water-resistant emulsion acrylic adhesive, it resists condensation, spillages, and refrigerated cold-chain humidity (-20°C to +70°C). Conforming to EPCglobal Gen2v2 and ISO 18000-63, it is widely deployed across pharmaceutical bottling plants, agrochemical warehouses, personal care cosmetics, and clinical laboratories.
