In bidirectional Query mode, when a barcoded sample tube is placed inside the analyzer, the instrument scans the barcode and queries the LIMS. The LIMS replies with the exact test profile ordered for that patient. The analyzer executes the tests and automatically transmits results back to the LIMS without human intervention.
Can the laboratory software function if the internet goes down?
Yes. The local machine interfacing agent runs as a Windows background service on the local lab PC. It continues receiving and storing analyzer results locally in an encrypted database during internet blackouts, automatically syncing records to the cloud when connectivity returns.
How does QR report verification prevent medical report forgery?
Every printed and digital PDF report embeds a cryptographic QR code containing a secure hash of the report data. When a doctor, employer, or visa embassy scans the QR code with their phone, it opens the immutable original report hosted on secure cloud servers, proving authenticity.
