The UHF Anti Metal Tags for Industrial Asset Tracking Systems (Model: PRD_HW_ANTI_METAL) are ruggedized, heavy-duty on-metal RFID tags engineered for harsh industrial manufacturing plants, oil and gas refineries, construction machinery, outdoor electrical assets, and returnable transport items (RTI). Encapsulated in a heavy-duty IP68 waterproof and impact-resistant ABS/FR4 composite housing, this tag incorporates an internal engineered microstrip dielectric spacer that allows it to achieve an exceptional read range of up to 6.0 to 10.0 meters directly on steel, aluminum, and cast-iron surfaces.
1. Robust Industrial RF Architecture & Extreme Temperature Resistance
Powered by the high-performance Alien Higgs-9 / Impinj Monza R6-P silicon IC, the tag operates across 860 MHz to 960 MHz (fully tuned for Indian WPC 865–867 MHz). The internal resonant cavity converts the metal asset itself into an extended ground plane, enhancing rather than degrading RF signal propagation. Engineered to endure extreme industrial environments, it withstands thermal shocks from -40°C to +100°C, chemical exposure, high-pressure water washdowns, and continuous heavy mechanical vibration.
2. Multi-Option Industrial Mounting
The tag housing features two reinforced M4 screw/rivet mounting holes alongside an optional ultra-strong industrial 3M VHB foam adhesive backing, providing flexible, permanent installation on steel shipping containers, automotive production line skids, gas cylinders, electrical transformers, and high-value metallic tools. Fully compliant with EPCglobal Gen2v2 and ISO/IEC 18000-63, it integrates 128-bit EPC memory and 96-bit factory TID.
