How does this browser tool connect to my local TallyPrime without cloud middleman?

This tool communicates with your running TallyPrime or Tally.ERP 9 via our lightweight, open-source local bridge agent (TallyBridgeAgent.exe). It runs locally on your PC (http://127.0.0.1:13579) and relays TDL XML requests directly to Tally’s local XML server (Port 9000). Zero financial data leaves your local network.

How do I enable the XML Server in TallyPrime?

In TallyPrime, press F1 (Help) ➔ Settings ➔ Connectivity ➔ Client/Server Configuration. Set "TallyPrime acts as" to "Both" or "Server", and set the Port number to 9000. Restart TallyPrime.

Is it safe to run diagnostic tests on my live Tally accounting company?

Yes, 100% safe. The "Safe Read Queries" tab executes read-only TDL collection exports (<TALLYREQUEST>Export</TALLYREQUEST>). It cannot alter, delete, or insert vouchers. When testing the "Write Vouchers" tab, our tool enforces a mandatory confirmation checkbox before transmitting any voucher to your ledger.
