The NXP U8 Washable Polyester UHF RFID Laundry Tag 70x15mm (Model: U8-TEX-7015) is an ultra-durable, flexible textile tracking transponder engineered specifically for industrial commercial laundries, five-star hotel linen management, hospital scrub sterilization, and workwear garment rental services. Powered by the NXP UCODE 8 silicon IC, this tag is designed to withstand the harsh mechanical, thermal, and chemical rigors of heavy-duty commercial laundering, including high-pressure water extraction presses up to 60 bar, tunnel washers, flatwork ironers (up to 200°C), and chemical dry cleaning.

Operating across the global 860 MHz to 960 MHz RAIN RFID band (tuned for Indian WPC 865–867 MHz), the high-sensitivity NXP UCODE 8 chip (-23 dBm) provides an impressive bulk read range of 4.0 to 7.0 meters, allowing laundry operators to scan hundreds of soiled hospital bedsheets or hotel towels inside sealed laundry carts in under 3 seconds.
