Measuring just 4.5 mm in diameter and 4.1 mm in height, it is among the smallest on-metal UHF tags available globally, making it ideal for embedding directly into metallic cavities, tool sockets, medical instruments, and laptop chassis where standard tags cannot fit.
1. Covert Secondary Tagging for Laptop Anti-Theft
In enterprise IT asset protection systems, this micro tag functions as the hidden secondary audit tag. While a primary on-metal tag is mounted on the laptop chassis for long-range gate detection, the P-MD4.5 tag is embedded deep inside the internal motherboard cavity or internal frame. - Structural Epoxy Potting: Secure the tag inside internal laptop chassis cavities using 2-part industrial epoxy adhesive.
- Surface Adhesion: Mount directly onto metallic brackets using high-strength cyanoacrylate or VHB adhesive.
