Description
The UHF Fixed Reader Antenna and Circular Polarized Panel (Model: PRD_HW_ANTENNA) is an enterprise-grade, high-gain RAIN RFID panel antenna engineered for industrial warehouse dock-door portals, automated conveyor tunnels, parking boom gates, livestock tracking, and manufacturing assembly lines. Delivering a powerful 9.0 dBi / 12.0 dBi antenna gain with Right-Hand Circular Polarization (RHCP), this antenna ensures 100% omnidirectional tag readability regardless of tag orientation across broad interrogation zones.
1. High-Gain Circular Polarization & Beam Angle Physics
Operating across the global UHF frequency band (860 MHz to 960 MHz, tuned specifically for Indian WPC 865–867 MHz), the antenna features a low voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR $le 1.3:1$) and an axial ratio under 2.0 dB. Its circular polarized electromagnetic beam eliminates tag dead zones, delivering an exceptional read range of up to 12.0 to 18.0 meters when paired with fixed readers (such as Impinj R700 or Zebra FX9600).
2. Heavy-Duty IP67 All-Weather Radome & Versatile Mounting
Enclosed in an IP67 waterproof and UV-stabilized heavy-duty polycarbonate/ABS radome with an aluminum backplate, it withstands extreme outdoor weathering, heavy monsoon rains, dust storms, and temperatures from -40°C to +70°C. It features a standard N-Type Female connector and is supplied with a heavy-duty stainless-steel articulating pole/wall mount bracket.

} Industrial GPIO Pinout & Modbus TCP Register Map
Hardware wiring specifications for connecting UHF Fixed Reader Antenna and Circular Polarized Panel directly to optical photocell sensors, light stacks, and Siemens / Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Instead of keeping the RFID scanner running 24/7 (which overheats equipment and reads distant tags accidentally), a physical light beam sensor (photocell) tells the reader to scan only when a box arrives on the conveyor belt. If the box has a missing or wrong tag, the reader instantly trips a red light and signals a robotic arm or pneumatic pusher to divert the box.
- 1 Optical Beam Cut: Carton cuts photocell beam → GPI-1 transitions from 0V to +24V HIGH.
- 2 1,500ms Active Scan: Reader powers RF antenna array (30 dBm) and captures all tag EPCs inside the carton.
- 3 ERP Validation: If carton count matches ERP manifest, GPO-1 pulses for 200ms (Green Light / Belt Continues).
- 4 Defect Ejection: If tag count is incomplete, GPO-2 triggers pneumatic diverter to route carton to audit lane.
