The Smart Locker System is an on-premise self-service asset-management solution designed for enterprises, manufacturing plants, hospitals, and corporate offices across India. It allows employees to issue and return high-value assets (laptops, industrial tools, calibration instruments, or keys) 24/7 without manual supervisor intervention. The platform replaces manual sign-out logbooks with automated identification, automatic door compartment unlocking, and a 100% auditable digital trail. ### 1. Employee Touchscreen UI (Borrow / Return / Manager) Runs in browser kiosk mode on the locker touchscreen. Authentication supports: * IC (RFID Card): Tap employee card on 13.56MHz Mifare/NFC or 125kHz reader. * ID & PIN: Employee ID and 4-digit PIN authentication. * Borrow Flow: Visual photo grid displaying bound compartment label (e.g., D01), asset status, and search filter. Door unlocks automatically upon selection. * Return Flow: Displays assets currently issued to the authenticated employee. Department solenoid door unlocks upon item selection and verifies door closure. * Manager Flow: PIN-protected admin override for placing new assets, binding compartments, or recovering stuck items. ### 2. Admin Control Panel (Local Network Dashboard) Web-based management dashboard accessible via local browser URL: * Employee Permissions: Manage employee validity windows, assign asset access levels, generate one-time access PINs, and deliver credentials via local mail server. * Asset & Compartment Mapping: Master list with photo uploads, category tagging, compartment binding, and live status tracking (Available, Issued, Overdue, Missing). * Locker Control: Manage multiple locker cabinets, trigger remote compartment open/lock commands, monitor DW200 access controller status, and receive real-time tamper or door-open alerts. * Reporting: Complete exportable transaction logs and utilization charts. ### 3.
