Description

The NXP NTAG213 Round 25mm High-Gain NFC Wet Inlay Sticker (Model: NTAG213-N21-1) is an enterprise-grade 1-inch contactless RFID label engineered for superior read sensitivity, rapid tap response, and long-range smartphone interactions. Powered by the authentic NXP NTAG213 integrated circuit, this inlay features an expanded 21.0 mm antenna coil (N21 footprint) that delivers substantially greater inductive coupling than smaller micro-inlays, achieving consistent read ranges of 15 mm to 50 mm (up to 2 inches) on NFC smartphones and commercial readers.

1. Enhanced RF Sensitivity & Universal Ecosystem Compatibility

Fully compliant with ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and NFC Forum Type 2 Tag standards, the NTAG213-N21-1 operates at 13.56 MHz with an input capacitance of 17.0 pF. The larger 21mm antenna aperture captures magnetic flux lines more effectively, allowing users to scan tags effortlessly even through thick plastic casings, acrylic stands, or retail product packaging. The 144 bytes of user EEPROM memory support standard NDEF records for instant web URL launches, Google Review tap stands, digital business cards (vCards), smart museum placards, and product authentication tokens.

2. Advanced Silicon Features & Industrial Converting

The silicon IC provides hardware-level 32-bit password protection (PWD), a 16-bit Password Acknowledge (PACK), a 7-byte factory-locked unique serial number (UID), and a high-speed FAST_READ command. Manufactured on a flexible, transparent PET base with a high-tack permanent acrylic adhesive, the inlays are supplied on 3-inch industrial cores suitable for both manual application and automated high-speed roll-to-roll labeling machines.

Questions

Why does the 25mm NTAG213 inlay offer a longer read range than the 18mm version?
Read distance in passive 13.56 MHz HF systems is directly proportional to antenna aperture area. The 25mm inlay features a 21mm diameter antenna coil, which captures significantly more magnetic flux from the smartphone reader than an 18mm inlay (which has a 15.25mm coil), increasing read distance from ~20mm up to 50mm.
Can this 25mm NFC sticker be used for Google Review stands and table tap cards?
Yes. The 25mm NTAG213 inlay is one of the most popular choices for Google Review stands, restaurant menu table tents, and smart posters because its extended read range ensures immediate, effortless smartphone recognition even through protective acrylic or wooden display stands.
How do I encode website URLs onto these NTAG213 inlays?
You can write URLs to the tag using any free smartphone NFC app (such as NFC Tools on Android or iOS) by selecting Write -> Add a Record -> URL/URI. For bulk commercial deployments, RFID Softwares provides automated factory pre-encoding services.
Can I lock the tags so customers cannot overwrite my website link?
Yes. The NXP NTAG213 chip supports both permanent hardware lock bytes and 32-bit password protection. Setting the lock bytes or password via an NFC encoding tool prevents unauthorized users from altering your programmed URL while leaving the tag freely readable.
What is the HSN Code and GST rate for 25mm NTAG213 NFC inlays in India?
Inlays are categorized under HSN Code 8523 and attract an 18% GST rate. RFID Softwares provides GST-compliant tax invoices with complete input tax credit (ITC) details for commercial buyers across India.
