Description

The NTAG213 Printable NFC PVC Smart Card ISO CR80 (Model: NTAG213-CR80) is an enterprise-grade contactless card manufactured from premium glossy white PVC and embedded with an authentic NXP NTAG213 integrated circuit. Built to the international ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1 (CR80) credit-card format, this smart card is the premier choice for digital NFC business cards (tap-to-share vCard), corporate identity badges, VIP membership passes, luxury hotel keycards, and event access control.

1. NXP Silicon Architecture & Universal Smartphone Interaction

Operating at 13.56 MHz under the ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and NFC Forum Type 2 Tag standards, the card embeds an internal copper wire perimeter antenna tuned to an input capacitance of 17.0 pF. This provides an exceptional contactless read distance of 2.0 cm to 5.0 cm on all NFC-enabled Apple iPhones (iPhone 7 and newer with iOS 11+) and Android smartphones without requiring custom mobile apps. The 144 bytes of user EEPROM memory store NDEF records including personal vCards, LinkedIn profiles, corporate web links, or digital authentication tokens.

2. High-Gloss Printable Surface for ID Card Printers

The card surface is crafted from multi-layer laminated virgin PVC with an ultra-smooth high-gloss finish, specifically treated for high-resolution edge-to-edge printing on standard dye-sublimation and retransfer ID card printers (including Zebra ZC300/ZC100, Fargo DTC1250e/HDP5000, Evolis Primacy, Magicard 300, and Datacard SD260). It features a 7-byte factory UID, 32-bit password protection (PWD), and true anti-tear protection for mission-critical corporate security.

Questions

Can I print full-color graphics and photos on these NFC PVC cards using standard card printers?
Yes. The NTAG213-CR80 cards feature an ultra-smooth, high-gloss PVC surface engineered specifically for thermal transfer dye-sublimation and retransfer card printers including Zebra ZC300, Fargo DTC1250e, Evolis Primacy, and Magicard printers.
How do digital NFC business cards work with this card?
You can program your digital business card link (e.g., your LinkedIn profile, digital contact card, or portfolio URL) onto the tag using a free smartphone app like NFC Tools. When you tap the card against any iPhone or Android phone, the contact card automatically opens in the phone browser without requiring the other person to install any app.
Can I lock the card so others cannot overwrite my contact details?
Yes. You can permanently lock the card using standard NDEF lock bytes or configure a 32-bit password so only you can update the information stored on the card.
What is the difference between this NTAG213 card and a standard RFID card?
Standard 125 kHz RFID cards or 13.56 MHz MIFARE cards are designed for building door access readers and cannot be read natively by smartphones. NTAG213 NFC cards adhere to the NFC Forum Type 2 standard, allowing them to interact instantly with all modern smartphones.
What is the HSN Code and GST tax rate for NFC smart cards in India?
Blank NFC smart cards are categorized under HSN Code 8523 and attract an 18% GST rate. RFID Softwares provides official B2B tax invoices with GST input tax credit (ITC) across India.
