Description

The Fudan F08 80x50mm Smart Card RFID Prelam Inlay (Model: F08-F7645) is a core pre-laminated contactless sheet engineered specifically for plastic card manufacturing plants producing ISO/IEC 7810 CR80 smart identity cards, university student IDs, corporate badges, and transit passes. Powered by the Fudan FM11RF08 (MIFARE Classic 1K compatible) integrated circuit, this prelam sheet features an ultrasonic-welded perimeter copper wire antenna tuned to 13.56 MHz, delivering outstanding dimensional stability and electrical resilience through high-pressure thermal lamination cycles up to 140°C.

1. Industrial Smart Card Core Architecture

Designed to form the middle electronic layer of laminated PVC, PET, or polycarbonate cards, the F08-F7645 prelam features an 80 mm × 50 mm embedded perimeter copper antenna coil (F7645 layout) centered within standard card dimensions. The Fudan FM11RF08 chip provides 1,024 bytes (8 Kbits) of EEPROM memory organized into 16 independent sectors, each protected by dual secret keys (Key A and Key B) with CRYPTO1 cipher control. The module uses advanced flip-chip die bonding with high-conductivity silver paste to withstand severe mechanical bending and card lamination pressures.

2. High-Yield Card Manufacturing Compatibility

The prelam core has a nominal thickness of 0.45 mm to 0.50 mm, allowing card manufacturers to sandwich it between outer printed PVC layers (0.15mm overlay + 0.15mm core) to achieve the standardized 0.76 mm to 0.82 mm CR80 card thickness. The sheet layout ensures minimal surface indentation, enabling high-yield offset printing, silk-screening, and die-cutting.

Questions

What is an RFID Prelam Inlay and who uses it?
A Prelam (pre-laminated) inlay is a semi-finished core sheet that contains the RFID chip and etched/wire antenna embedded inside PVC or PET layers. It is purchased by plastic card manufacturers and printing presses who laminate outer printed artwork sheets over the core to produce finished ISO CR80 smart cards.
Can this prelam core withstand high-temperature hydraulic card presses?
Yes. The F08-F7645 prelam is specifically engineered with high-temperature PVC/PETG carrier layers and ultrasonic flip-chip bonding to withstand standard card press lamination cycles operating between 120°C and 140°C without electrical disconnects or core bubbling.
What is the read range of cards produced from this F08 prelam?
Once laminated into a standard 0.82mm CR80 PVC card, the large perimeter copper wire antenna delivers an exceptional read range of 3.0 cm to 8.0 cm on standard wall-mounted access turnstiles, time attendance machines, and USB smart card desktop readers.
What is the HSN Code and GST taxation for smart card prelams in India?
Smart card prelams are classified under HSN Code 8523 with an 18% GST rate. RFID Softwares supplies plastic card manufacturers across India with formal GST invoices and comprehensive quality inspection reports.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for F08 prelam sheets?
Standard packaging starts at 1,000 sheets, packaged in moisture-barrier cartons. Custom sheet arrays (such as 3x8 or 4x10 multi-up card formats) are available for high-volume automated manufacturing lines.
