As Senior Product Engineer at Impinj, you will focus on RAIN / UHF RFID Protocols, Tag & Inlay Manufacturing, directly supporting high-throughput supply chain tracking, automated item identification, and next-generation wireless IoT infrastructure.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities & Core Tasks
• Silicon Product Operations oversees the end-to-end product lifecycle within the operations team, managing new product launches from the engineering milestone phase through ramp into volume production. The team is also responsible for monitoring product quality in High Volume Manufacturing (HVM), driving end-of-life planning for products, and overseeing Bill of Materials (BOM) management. • Work with supply chain planning to ensure the Capacity Planning for product ramp is complete in the context of total back-end capacity and product mix. • On NPI side, actively participate and contribute to the milestones process by working closely with engineering, operations and go-to-market teams to ensure a timely launch and proper risk assessment. • Lead and drive the NPI ramp to volume production for new RFID tag and reader chips. • Direct experience in IC Development and/or IC Product and Test Engineering and/or IC Manufacturing/Process Engineering
