🎯 Role Overview & Mission

This technical specialist deploys and fine-tunes industrial RFID hardware on-site for Impinj's clients, resolving radio signal interference around metal machinery and liquid containers in real-world facilities.

As IT Support Specialist at Impinj, you will focus on RAIN / UHF RFID Protocols, directly supporting high-throughput supply chain tracking, automated item identification, and next-generation wireless IoT infrastructure.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities & Core Tasks

• Our fast-paced, highly collaborative IT team is seeking an IT Manager to oversee the full spectrum of IT services for our Brazil site. This is a hands-on role where you will serve as the single point of IT accountability on the ground, ensuring the office runs smoothly and our employees stay productive. You will partner closely with Impinj's Global IT team to align local operations with company-wide technology standards, security practices, and strategic direction. This role requires on-site presence at our Porto Alegre office. • Lead the implementation of IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, integrations, and processes for the Impinj Porto Alegre office, identifying and addressing gaps in design and architecture • Partner with key stakeholders to identify business requirements, develop IT solutions, and lead site-level implementation of new systems, services, and infrastructure • Manage local IT devices and their lifecycles such as laptops, network equipment, and mobile devices • Lead assessment, management, and negotiation for IT equipment, services, and local Internet providers
