Description
The RFID Livestock Animal Ear Tag (ISO 11784/11785 FDX-B 134.2 kHz) (Model: EAR-TPU-1342) is a veterinary-grade, biocompatible electronic animal identification tag engineered for cattle livestock management, dairy farm milk yield monitoring, sheep and goat flock tracking, breeding lineage records, and government animal disease traceability programs (such as the National Animal Disease Control Programme - NADCP). Molded from biocompatible, UV-resistant thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), this two-piece button tag embeds a high-precision 134.2 kHz Low-Frequency (LF) transponder chip adhering strictly to ISO 11784 and ISO 11785 (FDX-B and HDX) standards.
1. Biocompatible TPU Molding & Veterinary Piercing Design
The tag consists of a male piercing pin and a female locking button with a closed-head security cap that permanently locks upon insertion with standard veterinary ear tag applicators. The flexible, medical-grade TPU material prevents ear tearing, snagging on fences, and skin necrosis. Operating at 134.2 kHz, it provides a read range of 20 cm to 80 cm on handheld RFID stick wands and up to 1.2 meters on automated milking parlor walk-through antennas.
2. ICAR Approved 15-Digit Unique Animal Identification
Every tag is pre-programmed with a globally unique, tamper-proof 15-digit electronic identification number (3-digit country code + 12-digit animal ID) adhering to the International Committee for Animal Recording (ICAR) standards. It survives extreme weather from -40°C to +85°C, animal sweat, mud, slurry, and UV sunlight for the entire lifespan of the animal (>10 years).
