Description
The Compact Cylinder & Bolt UHF RFID On-Metal Tag (Model: CYL-ONM-M6) is an ultra-rugged micro transponder designed for harsh metallic assets where flat labels cannot be installed. With a compact circular/cylindrical profile, it can be mounted via screw, rivet, industrial adhesive, or embedded flush inside metal cavities.
1. Superior On-Metal RF Tuning
Standard RFID tags fail completely when placed directly against metal due to RF reflection and detuning. The CYL-ONM-M6 incorporates a high-dielectric ceramic/composite internal barrier that utilizes the metal surface as an RF reflector to boost signal gain, delivering a reliable read range of 1.5 to 3.5 meters despite its micro dimensions.
2. IP68 Ruggedized for High Pressure & Chemical Exposure
Encapsulated in high-impact PPS / epoxy resin, the tag withstands high-pressure water washing, petroleum fuels, industrial oils, and harsh outdoor conditions (-40°C to +150°C), making it ideal for tracking LPG cylinders, oxygen bottles, fire extinguishers, and CNC tooling.
