Description

Standard RFID inlays fail when placed directly on metal due to signal detuning. The UHF Anti-Metal Tags feature a built-in dielectric or ceramic spacer that isolates the antenna, delivering a reliable 3–8 meter read range on servers, laptops, pipes, gas cylinders, and industrial machinery. Encased in a rugged ABS/PC outer shell with IP67 ingress protection, they support screw, rivet, or 3M VHB adhesive mounting.

Questions

Why do standard tags fail on metal, and how does this fix it?
Metal reflects RF waves and shorts out standard tag antennas. Anti-metal tags contain a specialized ferrite spacer that isolates the antenna so it reads reliably.
Can I print barcodes on these tags?
The hard ABS shells cannot go through standard roll printers, but they can be custom laser-engraved with barcodes and logos at our factory.
Are these suitable for data center asset tracking?
Yes, the 25x25mm variant is the standard choice for servers, routers, and IT hardware cabinets.
